Married, has two underage children.

Education:

1990: Graduated from the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Candidate of Sciences (Economics).

Speaks English.

Awarded the title of Merited Economist of the Russian Federation.


 

1985–1990: Student of the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University.

1990–1993: Post-graduate student of the Soviet Academy of Sciences’ Institute of World Economics and International Relations, Moscow.

1993–1996: Section head, deputy director, director of the Research and Forecasting Division of the Moscow branch of the Bank of Russia.

1996–1998: Director of the General Analysis Division of the Bank of Russia Prudential Banking Supervision Department.

1998: Deputy director, head of the Prudential Supervision Methodology Division of the Bank of Russia Prudential Banking Supervision Department.

1998–2001: Deputy director of the Bank of Russia Prudential Banking Supervision Department.

2001–2002: Director of the Bank of Russia Department for Licensing Credit Institutions and Their Financial Rehabilitation.

2002–2012: Director of the Bank of Russia Credit Institutions Licensing and Financial Rehabilitation Department.

From February 2, 2012: Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia.

Member of the Bank of Russia Board of Directors (since 18 October 2013).
