Ekaterina Trofimova

General Director, Analytical Credit Rating Agency JSC, Russian Federation

On November 20, 2015, by decision of the General Meeting of Founders of the Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA), Ekaterina Trofimova was elected Chief Executive Officer. Before this, in 2011, she joined the Gazprom team where, from 2012, she was a member of the Management Board in charge of the Centre for Rating Advisory, the Centre for Economic Forecasting and the Corporate Communications Department.

From June 2000 through July 2011, Ms. Trofimova worked as a financial analyst, Director and Head of Russia and CIS Financial Institutions Rating Group at Standard & Poor’s (Paris, France). Ms. Trofimova was on the rating agency’s analysis board in Europe and handled the activities of the Financial Institutions Rating Group. At S&P, Ms. Trofimova fulfilled a leading role in developing and updating methodologies for preparing financial institution ratings. In addition to performing analytical work relating to major financial institutions, Ms. Trofimova took an active part in developing the concept for the company’s strategic development and human resource management in the region.  

Ms. Trofimova graduated from St Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance in Global Economics in 1998 and the Sorbonne (Paris) in Finance and Tax Management in 2000.
