Financial Markets: Increasing Complexity, Maintaining Stability

    The Organizing Committee of the International Financial Congress has approved the event’s key subject. The theme for the 2018 will be ‘The Financial System: Stability for Growth’.
    IFC 2018 will open with a plenary session titled ‘What is Regulation’s Impact on the Stability of the Financial System and on Economic Growth?’ The business programme sessions will be dedicated to topical issues in monetary policy, changes in banking sector regulations and changing the model of banking supervision, developing the retirement savings market, the insurance market and financial markets in general; and to aspects of collaboration between the key elements of the financial system for ensuring its stability and economic growth.
    The International Financial Congress is held annually by the Bank of Russia. It is a key venue for discussing a broad range of issues faced by the Russian and global financial sectors. Every year, the Congress events are attended by representatives of the Bank of Russia, legislative and executive authorities, foreign regulators, the biggest banks and leading financial institutions, and renowned international and Russian experts.
